The Sims 3 runs well but crushes

Hello! 

I have an iMac M3, 16 gb of RAM. I have no custom content.

The Sims 3 64 bit turned out to work very well right after downloading but it suddenly stops after some time of me playing. I can play for an hour or for a couple of minutes and then it crashes. I have currently found no solution. I would be so grateful for any advice you might give to me.
