You mention you have your saves and all your files still in the computer, but the game doesn't seem to be reading them. Could you tell me the location of that files (the path of the folder where the files are stored)? We might find out why the game can't find them 🙂

I think I see what happened now. To make sure, please, go to Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 3. Is there something in that folder? If so, could you take another screenshot for me?
Also, do you remember when you played for the last time without issues or what day the issue started?

I also had this issue. When I did the free win 10 upgrade I got a second user folder on the c: which had my old sims data in the documents/EA folder. Had to replace the EA folder from my old user folder to my new.
