Authenticity Error

Everytime I start my "The Sims 3", when it comes to the main menu an error window appears saying that the authenticity cannot be verified and it closes the game. Can you help me? Please

    1. What's your operating system ?
    2. Are you using the download or disk version of the game ?
    3. What is the exact wording of the error message ?

    Mac OS X 10.8.2 
    2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
    4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

    I'm running the disk version of the game

    The authencity of your disc cannot be checked and we can't recognize if it's a copy of the game

    Are you using custom content (including Store) and/or mods ? If so, try removing everything and see if you can start the game without that.
