This is just great if the boots come with Sims now. EA must have changed something and now I can redo the whole post and figure out how we can handle this. Thanks a lot EA!
As for you Sims: Did you delete them or just move ? If you deleted, check your Windows trash and just put them back one by one, checking the game every time. You only need to get rid of the sim if he has something.
Unfortunatly, Custard won't help you if the stuff comes with Sims this way now. I would refrain from downloading the Exchange until this has been figured out.
There is a way to clean your sim from the Stuff a few pages back. Maybe that can help you for now.
