The problem with Custard is that it never was intended to find 'bad cc' as in 'badly made stuff' (wrong categorizing etc). It's purpose was to find stuff that causes blue lots. Those are corrupt files and Custard shows them as such. There are other corruption that Custard finds but I'm not sure what they are.
The stuff that is in this thread is NOT shown as corrupt by Custard but since the categories are shown, it can be used to determine if something is in there that shouldn't be in there but they won't show red. You have to know what to look for.
There are patterns out there that can screw your game as well, there is hair out there that crashes your game and since this patch, there are windows that will look strange and can crash your game. The Doll now crashes your game but they are ALL not shown as corrupt by Custard for the tool only looks for certain categories of bad cc, which are corrupt files.
I do have instructions on how to use Custard and what to look for in my blog but that is all German. There are some instructions in the original doll thread which is linked on the first page, maybe that helps. But this new issue shows differently in Custard and those downloads will not be in the Launcher.
I don't know yet how and where I'm going to post all this. Since the last deleting spree on this forum (whoever was at fault), I don't trust info that is only on here.
So, my suggestion for the moment: Refrain from downloading Sims and Houses from the Exchange unless they are from someone you trust.
