Can you you go on holiday on Sims 3 seasons

So I had the sims 3 seasons when it came out on the 13th of November but I didn't have the sims 3 so I couldn't play it so I waited intil Christmas and I got sims 3 and late night I installed sims 3 and seasons then it stopped working then like a couple of weeks later seasons started working so the i tried to install late night but it says something about something else is running in the background what does that mean? my second question is can you go on holiday on seasons cuz i tried finding travel on my sims phone and laptop but didnt work plz reply soon and help me!!!!

    in answer to the hoilday part of your question no sims cannot travel for a holiday (unless you have world adventures ) but if your sim has a job they will get a holiday which is just  a day off work to celebrate the holidays are called love day = valintines snowflake day = christmas and lesiure day which would be like a bank holiday

    something else running in the background ? hmm it could be the launcher trying to work, try this hold ctrl+alt+del which will open up task manager there you will what is running if it is the launcher just hit end task once it closes the launcher IF that is what is running then restart your computer see if the game will work then if not post back here

    Yes I youtubed it the holiday thing and found out so thanks anyway and I'll try that tommorow! Thanks for your help!
