Cannot interact with other sims

Question

here is my dxdiag if this helps. So been playing for a while and I do have custom content, my game has the 1.67 update, and has the expansion called seasons. I have been playing for a while and noticed that my sim cannot interact with other sims. Mainly no interaction wheel pops ups, not even the little silver star that has the interactions on it. This is not game breaking as I can play the game flawlessly with no issue, some lag but hardly noticeable. But it would be nice to be able to interact with other sims and actually get my sim married instead of dying of old age, and single after 72 days in game lol. I am not terribly worried about this as it might be a corrupted update but I just wanted a suggestion to fix this. I am using windows 7, and my game is on STEAM, not Origin. does the sim work ? could be a corrupt work outfit have the sim change into everyday wear then go to dresser-plan outfit if the sim has more than one work outfit delete the extra's if the sim has one work outfit create a new outfit for them and have them us that outfit or the reset sim cheat

I have tried reset sim cheat, but that did not work, I have not checked the work outfits. But yes my sims work, I thought it was the nraas career mod, Cmar, or Graphical xtc mod I have. But I just cant get my sim to talk or hold any conversation with any other sim. I can interact with objects and such but not with the npc's lol its kinda odd. ill try your idea see if that works. this is not game breaking for me I juat want to interact with other sims instead of depending on autonomy.

Saddly it did not work, I am wondering if maybe I have a corrupt file, and just need to re-install my game. ill try that tomorrow. If it is a mod that is incompatible Idk what one it is since changing to the new install format I have a whole bunch of stuff from the expansion pace the Seasons ill try to figure this out. ill keep an eye out for your tips.

if it is an incompatible mod&nbsp; move the mods folder to the desktop then clear the cache files launch and see if all is well if it is go check your mod/s are the same patch level as your game so for example&nbsp; if your game is 1.67 and a mod is way below that then yeah you will have issues hope i make sense here then place the mods folder back BUT open that mods folder and cut/paste your mods files to the desktop place one mod back launch and play if all is well that mod is fine&nbsp; then the next one if it fails delete it from your mods and clear the cache file again rinse repeat&nbsp;

to delete the cach files go to electronic arts/the sims 3/
•CasPartCache.package•compositorCache.package•scriptCache.package•simCompositorCache.package•socialCache.package.package
it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate

also if you have in your saves file folder any files with ,bad delete them as they are no good and will keep causing issues AND the game can be set back to factory settings without having to uninstall and reinstall everything just make sure to back up your stuff before hand
