Cannot Log In Online, In Launcher or In Game

Yesterday I bought some things in the online store but because my launcher wouldn't connect to Origin I couldn't download them but then somehow I managed to sort that out so I started the game but could not log in because I didn't have the most recent update.

I got the update this morning but when I tried logging on in the game it said my password/email wasn't correct - I checked them and they were! I turned the game off and tried logging into the online store like I did yesterday but the the little box that asks you for log in details said it had lost the internet connction although my connection hadn't been lost....So I managed reset my password but when I went into the launcher I put my details in and clicked accept but then it just blinked and still had my email and password on it....

So really struggling now :/ all I wanted to do was play on the Sims with some new clothes and furniture ☹️

    I'm having the /exact/ same problem. Reset my password and everything, but when I try to log onto the launcher - it just blinks and reappears with my email/password.

    Only wanted to download Riverview. ;[

    Same here and it is driving me nuts.  I bought the 70s,80s,90s pack yesterday and now I can't log into thesims3.com or the game.

    Hey I just noticed it says my account was created yesterday, but Origin says I've been a member since 2009.  It even has my "GAME-SPECIFIC IDENTITIES" list as the one I originally used for TheSims3(tripmills4)
