Somehow my moms sims 3 account is attached to my EA account so every time I go to create my own account for sims 3 it just logs into hers and I have no idea how. She's changed her password and I do not have the new one so I'm confused on how it keeps logging into her account. I don't have any information saved or have to type anything in. I press create an account on sims 3 and it jumps to the EA site has me log into my EA account and then jumps back to sims 3 logged into my moms account. I never added her account to my EA. I have no idea what's going on. When I try to log into the sims 3 app it says invalid. I can't download any content or anything. Just the packs and play as is with no account attached. When I try to log in it sits on the loading circle of death until I force quit the app.
@lor1_mar1 The problem here is that the account on the Sims 3 site is the same as your EA account. This can't be deleted—support doesn't have the tools to do so—and it can't be unlinked because it's not separate. That's why signing in with your EA ID drops you into that account.
For the invalid error, where are you trying to sign in? You shouldn't need to sign in to download content from the Store or Exchange. Please try downloading using Firefox, without an active login in the launcher, and let me know what happens.
