Cannot register a digital copy of Sims 3 Supernatural

I bought Sims 3 Supernatural from Origin. I got the product code via email. Now I wanted to register the game at The sims 3.com but my product code is not accepted. All I get is a message saying * The serial code you entered is invalid. Please enter a valid serial code and re-submit.'

How can I register my digital game?

If your code does not work and you're positive it was entered correctly, you will need to contact Customer Support.

You have the option to contact them by mail, phone or Live Chat. Make sure you have a game, a category and a platform selected for the options to become available.

For Live Chat, make sure to choose US as your country.
