Cannot upload to the exchange [TS3/Mac]

Hello folks,

With TS3 being so glitchy I usually have to do a clean uninstall /reinstall every so often and in order to save some stuff I will upload to the exchange because saved sims are the only thing I can figure out how to pull out of my files adn I don't want to keep entire saves because it will more likely than not also save the glitch which defeats the purpose of going through this. So, if anyone has any insights into what the problem could be (or another way to save families/lots from my library without keeping an entire 'save') I'd appreciate it very much.

    @smythesbooms  Households (and any lots you create) are saved to the Library folder inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  Sims you save in CAS are stored in SavedSims.  You can preserve either or both of these folders and add them to the new Sims 3 user folder.  Saves are in the Saves folder, and you can preserve these too if you want.

    For the Exchange issue, please try uploading a newly-created sim and let me know whether it works.  The sim should not be wearing any custom content.
