Can't fish for Death Fish, Fairy Damsel, Vampire Fish

Question

My sim is level 10 of fishing skill I have garlic in the inventory (to catch the vampire fish) and it doesn't pop up to use it as bait. Neither do any of the fish I'm supposed to be able to catch when I click "Inspect the Water".&nbsp; My sim is an Alchemist (level 10) and it gets frustrating when you can't acquire the ingredients you need.&nbsp; He also has the collectors helper I redeemed from the lifetime wish money.&nbsp; Please help, thank you in advance! 🙂

does your sim have any special seeds in their inventory ? i have seen reports of when special seeds are in witches inventory it stops them from certain actions

if there are special seeds in the inventory remove them and see if your sim can fish again

If the garlic is from the store then you need to plant it and grow your own to use it as bait. You'll find that with a lot of the bait bought at the store.
