Can't login on Sims 3 launcher / in game
Hi, I've been trying every single thing in the book to try to login on the sims 3 launcher as well as through the game and it is just not working. I've cleared the IE cache and all of those things, my password doesn't have special characters, I deleted my email from the downloads bin and I don't have a VPN enabled. I am at a loss of what to do. Any help would be appreciated, the errors I am getting consist of on the launcher every time I try to login it just keeps popping up as if the password is wrong but I get no error message, and when I attempt to in game thats when I get the invalid password pop up. This has been going on for years but I've brushed it off but now none of my purchased sims 3 store content is available in my game and on the launcher it shows it's been downloaded but I cannot access it. I'm not sure if these are two separate issues or one. Like I said any help is appreciated. Thanks!
@lana103 Let's see whether the Store content issue has the same cause. Please try the content in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts, which will remove (but not delete) your user data: saves, Store and custom content, mods, etc. Open the launcher to create a new folder. Download one item from the Store and install it, then see whether it loads in-game. You shouldn't need to sign into the launcher or game itself to use the content.
