can't play generations expansion pack

Hi There,

We just bought the sims 3 generations expansion pack and we can't launch it. The game that launches is expansion pack seasons. 

Original sims 3 and expantion pack pets are installed as well.

Can you help me out please how to play the generations pack.

    its fine the sims 3 will always show the latest expansion pack genirations was like ep 4 the sims 3 seasons is ep 8 so it will always show on the luncher
