Cant save changes made to graphics card

Hello! Im currently in the process of getting the sims 3 to recognize my Geforce RTX 3050 graphics card. Whenver i try to make changes and save them a message would pop up saying “you dont have permission to change this file” or im not an administrator when its my laptop. Is there anyway i can fix this and how can i get my game to recognize my graphics?

  • @PaigePlays4  Restart your computer and try again, still with the EA App and EABackgroundService not running.  (Make sure the App doesn't start wtih Windows.)

If that doesn't help, is this an admin Windows account?  It needs to be in order to make these changes.  If it is, then try temporarily disabling your antivirus, just long enough to edit the files.

@SimmerForver  Does this happen after you restart your computer too?  If so, what antivirus do you use?  And what is the full file path to the file you're trying to edit?  This is another way of saying where is your game installed, but please double-check the location.  Right-click the file in question and select Properties > General, then list the Location here.
