Can't see FAIRY WINGS!!!!!!!!

Hi! Every time I go into CAS to create a fairy, the wings WILL NOT show... I've restarted my computer about 3 times... still no wings.. If it helps, I have the direct download version.

    Do you have any mods like the noMosaic in your game ? If so, remove it and

    Go to documents\ea\thesims3 and delete these files

    • CASPartCache.package
    • compositorCache.package
    • scriptCache.package
    • simCompositorCache.package
    • socialCache.package

    Thank you!! I had the Nomosiac mod in my folder too!! This helpped allot. Do you think this has anything to do with the reason I still can't see effects? (can't see fire, dust when sims fight, etc.)?

    Did you remove the mod and also delete the cache files ?

    Go to documents\ea\thesims3 and delete these files

    CASPartCache.package
    compositorCache.package
    scriptCache.package
    simCompositorCache.package
    socialCache.package

    Should these files remain deleted (well obviously), how the hell do I do that? Every time I delete files and start the game, files pop right back where they were and here we are, no wings. Grrr!

    I have no mods installed. I do not even have a mod folder that I keep seeing people tell me to look in. I cannot find a no mosaic mod or anything else mentioned. I deleted the cache files listed but I still cannot see fairy wings.
