marciastalks​  I apologize for the late reply.  Please make sure your mods are in the folder Sims 3 is now reading, as in, it may have changed when you fixed the Error 16.  If you're not sure, create a new save with a distinct name, then search for it.  Whatever folder it's in is the one that also needs your Mods folder.

Mods still work fine in Sims 3 overall.

    I did make a new mods folder. But the game is still not reading what I downloaded. Is there any possible chance to get a new mods folder from here somewhere?
