CAS is ruining me 😭

I can’t create a sims without crashing the entire game. It happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I haven’t played in over a year cause I can’t get around this problem. Here are the specifics: - Macbook 201...

    karynafontes​  Do you have Advanced Rendering enabled or disabled, and does it help to switch?  I've had mixed reports on your category of hardware, with some players saying they needed to use one setting for CAS and the other for live mode.  If you want to try the opposite setting, switch at the Main Menu and quit to desktop before loading a save.

    If that doesn't help, remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and try CAS again.  This will remove, but not delete, your saves and other user content, which is part of the point of the test.  It will also reset all your in-game options.  If you want to turn down the graphics again or flip the Advanced Rendering setting, do so at the Main Menu and quit to desktop, again.  Changing some of these settings with a save loaded can cause a crash all by itself.

    Yeah, it was the Advanced Rendering. I just turned it off and it worked. The game has absolutely no definition, it's all a blur, but at least I'm playing (😭). The things we do for this game...
