CC shows up on launcher but not on CAS

Hello! 

I have spent this entire day trying to get the CC I downloaded to show up in my game and despite all of the research I did, nothing has worked so far. If anyone could give me advice or a solution to this, that would be greatly appreciated! 

The CC show up on the Sims 3 launcher and I am able to install everything on there, but when I go to CAS, nothing shows up. I am currently playing Sims 3 on Steam and on a Windows 10 laptop. 

- I have created a mods folder with a packages folder in it and the resource.cfg file in there as well 

- All packages files are in the packages folder 

- All sims3pack files are in the downloads folder 

- I have deleted the cache before starting the game 

- I did not checkbox the 'start game without custom content' 

- The deviceconfig file has the same date/time from when I last opened the game so I know the CC is in the correct folder and the game is reading it 

- I even downloaded the multi sims3pack extractor to change my sims3pack files into packages and put it in the packages folder and nothing shows up 

Is there anything else I can do? Thank you very much!

    @mimidaisyy  Please make sure you're looking for the custom content in the correct categories.  For example, some people have mistaken teen clothing for YA/A items, and vice versa, so check both.

    And I take it you did in fact install the Sims3Packs through the launcher?  Simply placing them in Downloads isn't enough, you need to open the launcher's Downloads tab, check the boxes next to the items, and click Install.  (You probably did do this, but I figured I'd ask since you've done everything else.)

    If the above isn't relevant, feel free to send me a private message with links to a couple of the items, and I'll see whether they show up in my game.
