My username on theSims3.Com is my full real name, which is pretty stupid but I was about aged 12 (Now nearly 17) when I made the username, so I was lacking common sense as you could say. I was wondering, for privacy and safety reasons if I could get it changed? It didn't bother me before because I was hardly on the site, but now I'm on it quite alot and I almost feel embarassed and scared to comment on forum posts just putting my full name out there.. I don't know. I just wanna know due to privacy issues, if it's possible to change the username to the same as this maybe.Thanks if anybody helps!

Once a user name is created it is like a US social security number. This issue needs to be addressed by a game consultant. You can get help at help.ea.com and click contact us on the right. Follow the prompts until you reach a page that has live chat and call back. Call back is only available in the US and normal hours.

Changing your username/ID on the EA website does change it for EA but not The Sims 3 website. They are only linked together; not one in the same. Unfortunately, I have tried for a few years to change mine on The Sims 3 but it have not found a way to do so.

I went through the EA help at help.ea.com.They cannot change thesims3.com usernames either.In fact, the employee said, "I would need to inform you to post on forums regarding update for this."So, as of right now, we physically cannot change our usernames on the Sims Community.He also mentioned that I could "send an email at the Sims Community"After several attempts at asking, he gave me THIS email: lets_talk@ea.comI haven't emailed them yet, but this might help!!

@drkatrine It's not possible to change your username on the Sims 3 site, sorry. I asked about it a couple times, and there's no way for support to do it.

go to the EA website, profile, edit profile. i changed my username, good luck!

@drkatrine It's not possible to change your username on the Sims 3 site, sorry. I asked about it a couple times, and there's no way for support to do it.

I truly TRULY hope so. I think this is an important thing and the fact you can't change your own username is pretty wierd to me, yet I also understand it haha
