Child not going to school/school bus never showing up

So some reason the school bus never comes to pick my child up at 8am / 9am and even tho you can usually go even past those times it always says "school starts in: 1 day" even when it's not a holiday,...

I did try moving the child out and back in using edit town but some reason it's not letting me add sims into houses, even in houses that nobody lives in or empty lots. I did resetsim * but nothing has worked, I mvoed to new town and nothing worked so I'm prob going to save them all into the bin and start a new game

If that is an option you can live with, I would do that 🙂
