Code Redemption for The Sims 3 - Dragon Valley; Why can't I redeem my code when I haven't used it?

I have purchased The Sims 3 - Dragon Valley from the Origin online store as of last night (Australian Time). I have gone through the recommended game and store updates and go to redeem my code only to find out that the code is already in use when it should just be MINE!

When I try to type in the redemption code, it comes up with "The code you entered has already been used. Please check the code entered and try again. If you continue to receive this error it may be that the code has already been applied. If you need further assistance, please go to Contact Us." Which I would like to add, doesn't load - anyways, it led me to here after a little longer looking over the page.

I haven't redeemed my unique code yet, otherwise it would show up in the purchase history for me to download my game. Only proven by the fact that I also purchased The Sims 3 -  Celtic Lands, this one worked PERFECTLY! This is entirely enfuriating!!! I don't know what is wrong and I can't seem to be able to contact any of the support staff other than this forum.
