Codes Already Redeemed

I bought two stuff packs from a second hand store. Tried to redeem the codes in origin but they have already been redeemed. What do I do? I tried calling EA support but they wanted me to wait over an hour on the phone... I have a toddler to take care of.
Please help? ☹️

    Okay, I used an external disc drive to install the discs and the codes worked this way. I don't understand why...but yeah I got it to work. 🙂

    @bonyaisthebest  The idea here is that you can install Sims 3 via disc by connecting an external disc drive to the computer.  This bypasses the need to register the game with EA.
