I’ve noticed that during ghost hunting, missing options of the open water appears when I click on some types of ghosts, like the jealous one and the lost one.
ps.I’m using custom simplified Chinese text default replacement so the texts does not appear in officially supported language but I’m sure they’re the open water options. My installing language is traditional Chinese.
@Saewasuic Could you translate the text in your screenshot? And please let me know if you see the same options when facing a different direction, for example looking at the ghost from the other side or straight overhead.
I'm not sure if they match the original English texts but the options are go fishing, swim, snorkel, drive boat here and skip stones. And I can see the options when looking straight overhead and from other sides.
@Saewasuic That's quite interesting, and it also supports the theory that this is an issue with world layers. It's as if the game thinks you're clicking underneath the ground, where I guess there's water.
If you want to use open-water options on actual water, you can experiment with deliberately placing an object in the way, like you're trying to click through the object to the water underneath. I've seen a couple of posts that say this works with boats, but I don't know how reliable this is.
Is there any updates on the ocean bug yet?
