neoromanempire Your registry value is correct, and nothing about the registry should prevent Sims 3 from working. However, there are plenty of other reasons you might get this error, and I've gotten to the point here where I'm out of ideas. The game works in the new account but not the old one, so the problem is clearly somewhere on that account, but I don't know where else to look.

Appreciate your help. But anyway, What are the other issues that could be causing it? Because I really don't want to have to make two accounts. I am not transferring everything to a new account. That would require redoing so much. Also how can I "Un-Move" my documents back into the original location since moving it didn't help?
