[Current Issue] Sims 3 "serious error" when loading save

I know this is an old issue, but I'm STILL getting that Serious Error message every time I try to start a new game on Sims 3. Not only have I tried every suggestion on this thread but I actually uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. That didn't work either. I honestly don't know what else to do.
