I decided to start up playing sims again and bought the sims 3 plus late night and highend loft. I had previously purchased sims pets expansion pack and after installing the 3 previous discs I went to install the sims pets. It froze of 34% in the installation process and wouldn't budge even after leaving it for hours. I came to the conclusion that it wasn't working since it was previously used on my other computer.
I played the sims 3 + highend loft + latenight I had just installed fine. I was able to access it make people, and play the game as well as save. I ordered a brand new sims pets 3 off amazon. It was wrapped when I received it. I installed it normally, and it went through the installation process with out a problem. I booted up sims 3 and it started up normally went through the intro and as soon as it hit the neighborhood page it gave me an error note saying my disc was not put in. I took it out put it back in, closed it rebooted sims 3, I restarted my computer, I updated my computer, I restarted it again, I uninstalled both sims pets and late night and installed sims pets before latenight and it still read as sims pets and continued to ask for sims pets disc.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I am starting to go crazy over this can someone please help me.
I am on a MAC and these are all hard copy discs bought brand new.
