Custom Sim passed to me through Simport!
So I am dealing with another technical malfunction with Showtime (can't interact with one of my sims anymore) and I decide to try to start a new game to see if this is happening with new games as well...

What I think is happening is that you won't get the CC that comes in Sims3Packs but since you seem to get custom Sims in your game, you get the cc that is directly attached to them.
So they only partly lied cause they still don't care about this issue (as seem no one else). I've been preaching about this issue since over a year now and no one (including tool makers) even bother to look into it.
Exactly, this NOT a good thing. I did a sigh of relief as most of my CC is in package form. So therefore I would be able to recognize CC that would go to my launcher easily. However, Crin you're absolutely right, what if the game doesn't register certain CC and you have a bunch of data floating around in your game. WE ALL KNOW the launcher has been known to go screwy on occasion. No way, logging out now.
