disappearing tombstones

I noticed recently that everytime a sim dies on my lot, their urn or tombstone immediately disappears after Grim leaves. I did not have a problem with it when playing Seasons until I purchased Monte Vista. I am wondering if that is causing some sort of glitch. I would really like to have them because I am working on a Legacy Family. Anybody else?

    Only tombstones of active Sims stay. The rest is usually transfered to the mausoleum. If you want it you can check there and move it to your inventory.

    Tombstones of active Sims stay on the lot where they die.

    So far people have just visited my family and died and their tombstones have disappeared. My elder Sims are about to die so I am not sure if their tombstones will stay there with my family or not yet.

    This happened to me as well. I had the urn in my Sim's backpack and when I tried to place it on the ground it would be invisible. I solved this by placing it on a table. You could leave it there for them to grieve. Since I wanted it in the cemetery, I went into buy mode, picked up the table and put it in my family inventory. I was then able to place it in the cemetery. (my Sim owned the cemetery)
