DLC install stuck in 96%

I bought the Generations DLC, and I can't finish my install.

It always get stuck at 96%.

Restarting app and repairing sims3 didn't help.

I've referenced two posts.

I have reinstalled 2005 x86 and 2015-2022 x86 & x64, and it still doesn't work.😭

I don't know what else I can do .

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

(English is not my native language, so I hope I'm not being impolite in my questions.😔)

     I found the Generations DLC in The Sims 3 Launcher. And also can run the dlc in the game.

    But I don't know if I installed it successfully or not, because it's still not installed in the EA app.

    crazymashmallow  If you load a save, does the content from Generations appear?  If so, I would ignore the EA App issue for now and just play.  The App has a lot of issues.  You could clear its cache if you're annoyed by the Installing message:

    If Generations doesn't load, try the suggestion in the accepted solution of this thread:

    Yes, I could play Generations in the save.

    Does it means I just ignore the EA app issue?

    And hope EA will fix the bug someday?😅

    crazymashmallow  Yes, you can ignore the App for now, or you can clear the cache as mentioned.  The App will likely correct this particular problem on its own eventually even if you do nothing.

    In my case, I tried to install the Sims 3 Island Paradise, which I bought as a DLC from CDKeys. I redeem the game with the serial number they provided and had no problem. Yet, when I tried to install the game through EA app, it got stuck at 96%. I tried deleting the cache and to install it with the EA app with administrator mode in the PC, but it did not work. I have the Sims 3 installed with the original CD disc as several expansions, but wanted to add a new expansion to the pack buying it as a DLC. I do not know what to do
