i have a windows 8 the latest up to date system. i dont understand why the latest EP (university life) isnt working whereas sims 3 is pretty old yet this game works on my laptop and university life does not?
the launcher appears and allows me to click play yet after that nothing happens, the launcher shuts and my screen is still normal.
ive tried launching it through origin by clicking the play button and the same thing happens.
ive also tried to launch the game through the files and administrating them but nothing happens.
Do you have bitDefender installed ? There's a known conflict with the game and bitDefender on Win 8
does it have to be bitDefender because i already have an antivirus on my laptop?
i do not have bitDefender
I don't know if other programs conflict. BitDefender is known to do so.
You can try by turning off AntiVirus and check if the game than starts.
