Downloaded Sims from Origin and now I can't register my games

Question

I'm typing in the serial numbers on my Origin account and it says it's not the correct number. I don't unerstand what is going wrong and it says I don't have full access to the Sims 3 website content or the sims resource or something ike that.

If you already downloaded the game from Origin, then you don't need to register it again.

You need to make an account on thesims3.com for access to the exchange.
