Downloading vs loading Sims 3 discs
I just bought a new gaming laptop so I could play all my Sims3 expansions at the same time. I feel so stupid because I have discovered my laptop does not have a disc drive. I didn't even know some laptops were made without them. Is there a way I can register all my discs and download an electronic version of them or will I need to return my computer? So disappointed.

@melissyl You can register your discs in Origin, if you haven't already, and download Sims 3 from there, no disc drive necessary. The codes you need to register are the same ones you use when installing via disc; they're printed on the backs of the inserts that come inside the CD cases.
If you enter them into Origin and they already read as used, please make sure the game isn't already on your account. Registering on the Sims 3 Store would also count—Origin and the store share information. In this case though, you could just login to Origin with the same email and password you used on the store site, and your content should show up in your game library.
