@laya15 EA is doing sometheing again. My store items are uninstalled AGAIN!. Game was working last night. If you have a pc try the EA app. Open EA app. Click library. In the installed windows you should see the Sims 3 icon and a button in the upper left of the windowd + redeem code.

I sent a message yesterday requesting assistance to download dragon valley add on I haven't had the assistance and tried everything i can to download it. Every time I try to go to the section to redeem a code on the Sims3 website it comes up with a message that the site is down and that you are working on it but every other part of the site is working.

I have now bought this add on twice thinking there was something wrong with the first transaction so I have spent a total of £26 on a add on that I cant access.

Please may I have assistance with this?.

@OtherCook   If you bought Dragon Valley from the EA store I don't think you get a code. If should show as owned. Dragon Valley is in game content. Are you playing on a pc? If so Dragon Valley should appear as one of the worlds to choose. That means the content should be in the game. You can use the phone to move to new world from live mode.

It does not show up in the Worlds when the Sim 3 launcher is up. Shows that it is purchased on the EA app and in the Sims 3 purchase history on the Sims 3 game forum. One issue when attempting to download is that it is asking for the latest update of the Sims 3. This update is not available anywhere. Origin and EA have really messed up. EA needs to stop advertising purchases for games that will not download. Now we have to go through a whole refund process. Just annoying. We just want to play our games and not be forced to have Sims 4. A lot of people prefer to play Sims 3.  We paid a lot for the game and it's expansions throughout the years and it should not just be written off because there is a newer version.

Where did you purchase Dragon Valley- was this directly from Origin or the EA App? 

I bought it from the EA app. When I went to play the other day it automatically uninstalled origin and installed EA app. The sims store doesn’t even recognize that I bought dragon valley but says the code is already used when i enter it. There is nothing in my game. No new town or anything. Tech chat doesn’t even know what they’re talking about. Told me to wait 3-5 days and try again?!?

@OtherCook You do not need Origin. Do not use Origin. Launch the game from the EA app. When you get to the load game page click the 3 dots in the lower left of the window. Click open downloads dashboard. Look for Dragon Valley. It may say install now. This will download and install the world (or should).

If the above doesn't work open a browse and go to thesims3.com. Click store - my store account - purchase history. See if you can find Dragon Valley. It should say download. This should download the world to the downloads tab in the game launcher. If it is in the downloads tabs click it and install.

For a while I could not get store items to stay installed and what workarounds I had quit working. So I finally uninstalled the EA app and the game. Deleted all user data and did a clean install just using the EA app. Everything is there you just need to find it. Do not install Origin - you don't need it and it may (probably) mess up the game. My game has been stable since the last install.
