Dragon Valley Dowload and Update Issues

So I just bought the Dragon Valley Bundle and it won't download.  I think it might be an update issue since when I try to update it just says 'Can't connect to EA manager'.  (Despite being logged in....

quick question does origin open instead when your trying to download your world from the sims 3 site ?

      i ws about to ask to check your version number in the launcher the latest is 1.67 hover the mouse over the base game  icon to fond the version number

        1.29  Definitely need an update.  Usually I play the Ambitions Expansion... could that have effected things?
