EA have got our money, we the customers want our goods

Since the update of a few days ago my CCs disappears.  We had this problem 2-3 years ago and it took some time for this problem to be rectified.  I have tried a new folder. Down loaded from my purchase history page and the dashboard.  After installing the CC and going into a play session the CC is in the game as it should be. However, after closing the game and restarting the EA app all CCs have been whipped.  The same is true for worlds.  The only thing that remain  of venues is the shell building, i.e. walls and roof and in some cases the windows and doors are replaced along with items specific to that venue.  EA new of this problem for before so why did they not get it sorted before putting out this new update.

  • BillFlowerpot  When you tried the new Sims 3 folder, did you install all your Store content at once, or in smaller batches?  Using small batches helps prevent corrupted .ebc files, which can make the Store content disappear entirely.  It's not the only source of this problem but is a major one.

    Now that this has happened again, please delete the SigsCache folder inside the Sims 3 user folder and see whether your Store content shows up.  If it doesn't, try another new user folder, except this time, install only a few Store items and see whether they stay installed after you load the game, play, quit, and restart your computer.
