Error 12

I get error 12 on Windows 7. I tried the solution described on the EA site but I don't have any .legacy files and it didn't work

see if the faq can help and or post your DxDiag in this thread for someone to look at

btw the solution in the first link did not help, and neither did the solution on the EA site - they refer to legacy files and I did not have any.
