Error Code 12 + Missing World

As of two days ago, I've been completely unable to save my game. I haven't done anything differently--no mods, no weird downloads. So, I tried deleting the corrupt files(the "bad" saves), leaving eve...

I have 8 GB of RAM and it's a 64 bit processor.

As for the world, yes, it downloaded just fine.

If the backup of my family is still there in the folder, how come it isn't in the game? I was able to save just fine before.
