Error Code 12 (world file save failure)

When i try to save in sims 3 it gives me "Error Code 12" i have more than enough ram amd space on my computer so i wanted to try the solution of deleting the .bad folders in Saves file but when i go to "Electronic Arts" and "Sims 3" i dont get the "Saves" folder, only "Game" which leads me to "Bin", " GameData" which leads me to "Shared", " Win32" and "contentversion.txt", " Support" and "Thumbnails"........... What do i do????

@annagdj I've split your comment into its own thread, since the original thread was several years old.

You want to go into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. All of your save data, and all the content you've created and installed, is in your game folder in Documents. Applications only holds the game's program files.
