Error During Startup

@ErodaCanyon In your EA App game library, do you see Sims 3? If so, click it and select Manage > View properties, then let me know whether any of your packs are listed. Please also let me know whether you've installed any packs on this computer that the EA App currently doesn't think you own.
The "error during startup" is often due to missing or corrupt registry entries, so you might need to do a clean uninstall of the game. But it will be useful to know the current state of your account first.
I do see it in my library, and there are no packs listed since I don't own any packs, just base game. I haven't installed any packs on this computer either.
Update: I tried uninstalling the game like you said, but it won't even allow me to uninstall it. I'm not sure what's going on.
@ErodaCanyon Please uninstall the game using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). I wrote this guide for Sims 4, but the process is the same:
It's worth uninstalling the EA App as well since you're using Revo anyway. And please do reinstall the game into a new folder that you create for this purpose, as noted in the guide.
I did everything from the guide, step by step, and the error message is still coming up.
