Errors downloading Riverview

I have Sims 3 + Late Night through Origin, and my game is completely up to date. However, I go onto Sims3 Website to download Riverview and it says my game is not up to date. Why?

    @chloebroomhallxx The updates tab in the launcher is gone because patching will be done through Origin now. These changes are not because of the game. EA has always been against changing their games once they go to market but changes to windows 10 for Windows and el capitan for mac has forced changes in the game. If the repair tab doesn't work try a reboot of your computer (completely power down, count to 10, and power back up). And if the power cycle doesn't work you can try to uninstall Origin - download Origin and install Origin. Origin is a stand alone client program and a reinstall shouldn't affect the game.

@chloebroomhallxx My game is from Origin game version 1.69. When I download something from the store, the game launcher opens and the item downloads to the launcher where I have to go to install the item into the game. what version Windows do you have? I am not sure how Steam users works. I don't think Steam users have Origin? Steam installs the game different then Origin.

I'm on Windows 8. And I'm using Origin, sorry. I was just on the Steam website in the background. @roberta591

    @chloebroomhallxx When you start the game is Origin running? After Origin starts does the launcher start?

        @chloebroomhallxx Does the game icon appear in Origin? From the picture above it looks like the game is at version 1.67.
