A mod is a third party content you add to your game to change the gameplay.
Best would be to make a new thread of your own and describe your issue in as much details as possible so you can be helped best.

can someone help me? I downloaded the super patch, i click launch and it gives me this error

Any ideas? I'm trying to update this on a fresh install of windows 8 and a fresh install of sims 3 so i can get the expansions downloaded and installed.

Its straight from the discs, I could see how that steam popup could be misleading ha.
