I just bought the sims 3 to download, i did so, i installed, and now i have been trying to register my game onto the sims 3 website so i can download player content but it says the product code is invalid !!! why !! i have been trying to figure this out forever. i tried have a live EA representative call me but still no call. it has really angered me because i already had the disc, but i didnt have a product code. so i bought the new one so i WOULD have a product code, but i end up with a product code that doesnt work ! i already made the assumption that it already works, but i know it doesnt because i tried to download something but the sims 3 website still accuses me of not registering a game. i am absolutely beyond angry bc i have been trying to deal with this all day but NOTHING WORKS SO PLEASE SUGGESTIONS ! my case # is 09524017

I have the same issue. Ive bought Sims 3 Starter Pack, registered it via Origin and after that I created an account at thesims3.com with the same e-mail address tahts linked with Origin account. The system even showed my Origin nickname in the account tab at thesims3.com but I have no game registered there and no SimPoints or rewards. I can login and play the game but this disturbs me. And 2000 SimPoints would be nice to have.

Are you sure the Starter pack gives out Simpoints ? Does it say so on the box ?
