Freezing and Windows 8.1.

I installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop and now The Sims 3 continues to freeze every 2-3 seconds making me unable to play it!

Will there be a content patch to remedy the problem or am I going to have to throw The Sims 3 out of my window?

Try resetting all your Sims in your town with resetsim *

To do so

Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c

Type resetsim * (including the *)

This should put all your sims and animals to a safe location.

You might have a stuck Sim somewhere
