Hello, I'm currently experiencing a bug where my relationships fall off waaaaaay too quick, even friendship with bf/gf, and my sim even has the super friendly skill...
Any idea what causes this/how it can be fixed?
My guess is because my Sims have a decent amount of popularity whenever I get the event of someone spreading a false scandal about them this is where I lose out on friends lol
YugiStardustITA The scandals would do it. If you don't want your sims to spend a lot of time suing for slander or whatever, you can disable scandals with a mod, or perhaps lessen the impact to friendships. Let me know if you're interested.

I get it if I do something wrong it's fair my sim's reputation is tarnished, but if I win the trial it makes no sense he still loses his friends lol

YugiStardustITA I didn't realize that the Above Reproach lifetime reward blocks certain disgrace scenarios, but maybe only real ones? At any rate, this older page is mostly accurate:

The main difference to now is that the options varions StoryProgression add-ons enable have been rearranged, and the module you need is SP Relationship, in addition to the base SP.
If you don't want to deal with StoryProgression and everything that comes with it, NRaas Retuner would allow you to set the lifetime relationship loss to zero rather than the current 10. Retuner doesn't do anything unless you use it to change some value, so it would have no practical impact on your gameplay outside of what you chose to change with it. This is the path:
Retuner > Settings > General > by Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.CelebritySystem > Celebrity Manager > kLTRLostFromDisgrace
There are also a number of other options under Celebrity Manager that you could change if you wanted. The MaxAccusationChance is per celebrity level, I think, so you could set all of those to zero to block the system entirely. Or you could set kFalselyAccuseMinDelay and kFalselyAccuseMaxDelay to very high numbers. They're currently 1440 and 2880, respectively, in minutes, so one and two days.
Sometimes the game needs to be reloaded after changing a Retuner setting in order for it to apply.
