UltimateMara Any errors you're seeing while playing would be of interest, whether they're pop-ups or scripterrors in your user folder.
Issues with an imaginary friend can definitely cause this kind of problem, so I would address that sooner rather than later. And you're probably aware, but in case you're not, any IF that has been animated is also a sim, so you'd need to do an MC Total Annihilation on the sim in addition to deleting the doll.
