Game Crash
My game allows me to play 3-5 minutes then freezes if I wait then about 10 minutes after the freeze I get a box saying "the sims3 has stopped working" What do I do to fix this?

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:
If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.
If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:
1. Click On Start
2 Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Click Save All Information.
Either use two posts to post all or only post the part up to [sound device].
Please let me know if you have a switchable graphic card. That usually does not show in the DxDiag.
Yes I think I have a switchable graphics card. I tried to follow the suggestions there but I'm afraid I got a little lost. Are the xcpt files a bad thing?
If you have a switchable card, the game might not recognize it properly.
Try switching to the card before going into the game or see what you can tweak in the graphic settings.
Not sure how you go about this though.
The files are just crash logs. They can be deleted.
