game is running but it wont open
so i bought my sims 3 from the steam, downloaded, played it for and hour and i got off. but then when i closed the game it says that it is still running so i opened up the task manager on my computer...

@classicalex1234 Did you try a third party uninstaller like Revo uninstaller - more powerful then the built in uninstall wizard. Did you try starting Windows in the safe mode and try to uninstall the game starting Windows in safe mode? Doing this should not load the game and allow you to uninstall. Did you try the factory reset for the game - Sims 3 factory reset This should clear any game user data that is causing the game to crash. Did you try a registry cleaner like ccleaner - there is a free version.
