So, I just installed TS3 and all of it's expansions two nights ago (but none of the stuff packs) onto my computer, which exceeds the minimum system requirements by a lot. The first night of playing, I made a fresh town and played for several hours (over a week in-game), until the game froze and would not un-freeze (this was in Moonlight Falls). I had just saved, so I didn't consider it a big issue. But when I booted up the game the next day, it kept freezing when 7:30am rolled around for my Sims.
I have some CC (some .package, some store content, all of which was previously checked with Delphy's Dashboard), and I used a mod to pack up my family and pull them out of the game. Tonight, I deleted that save and started another fresh game, then dropped my family into the new save (in Isla Paradiso).
That seemed to help, except for some minor freezes which I took to be the result of putting them on a houseboat and having to render the waves, etc, all the time. So I used the Move option in-game to send them to a new home. They arrived and finished moving at about 12:30am in-game. Now, every time the game gets to 2:30am, it freezes all over again, and I have to pull up the Windows Task Manager to force close it.
Am I ever going to actually be able to play this game?
It's a brand new game in a brand new town. Are stray animals and cars and stuff an issue already? I've got MasterController and Overwatch and ErrorTrap all going. I've tried using MasterController to reset everything, and that didn't help.
I looked at all the causes on that list and I just don't see which one it could be.
Here's my DxDiag (it's in two posts for length). It's definitely not an in-game action causing the freeze. I've tried doing several different things and it keeps happening regardless.

So far, it's happened in both Moonlight Falls and Isla Paradiso. When I moved to Isla Paradiso, everything was fine for about a week, and then it started happening again. I'm changing the graphics settings now, to try that.
What would I need to upgrade to meet minimum requirements for all the EPs?
