@TylerHowell17 Do you get any scripterrors to go along with the crashes? They'd be in the Sims 3 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts. If you do, the people at NRaas would be much better equipped to interpret them and let you know what looks broken; I have only a rudimentary ability to read them.
What I would suggest though, if you can get an older save loaded for at least a little while, is to run an MC town reset. Then use "save as" to rename the save (so you keep the original as a backup), quit, delete the cache files, reload, and see how things go. For reference, the cache files are:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
Save often, pay attention to what's happening in-game. If you get another crash, I'd like to know what was on-screen, what time of sim-day it was, etc. This is especially relevant if you can duplicate the crashes under some particular set of circumstances.
